Health Paper Requirements

1) All entries are required to have an official Interstate Health Certificate (CVI) issued by a licensed and accredited veterinarian within 30 days of delivery to buyer.

2) CVI must show the following:
a. Date of last veterinary inspection (within 30 days of delivery to buyer).
b. Ear notch and tag number of consignment. An 840 tag or PIN tag required.
c. The following statements are required to be listed on the CVI:

i. No garbage fed

ii. Herd is not currently under quarantine for any disease

iii. No PRV vaccine used

iv. No TGE, Swine Dysentery or Swine Flu within the herd within the past 30 days

Registration Paper Requirements

1) All purebred entries are required to have the official registration certificate officially owned by or transferred to the exhibitor(s) in this sale.

2) Consignor should complete the back of the pedigree as completely as possible and sign it for transfer. If applicable, AI certificate number should also be included on the back of the pedigree.

3) Registration papers on purebred gilt entries MUST be mailed to Team Purebred by Monday, November 22. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Breeding Certificate/ AI Certificate Requirements

1) All purebred entries bred to a purebred boar of that breed are REQUIRED to have either a breeding certificate (natural service or bred to a boar owned by seller) or an artificial insemination certificate provided by owner of boar.
a. It is the consignor’s responsibility to obtain these certificates from the boar owner/boar stud and mailed to Team Purebred by November 22. This will be strictly enforced.
b. A legal breeding certificate, AI certificate or AI certificate number is REQUIRED before an entry will be posted for the online sale. If you have questions about this, you should contact Team Purebred or the breed association office PRIOR to November 22.
c. Breeding information needed for each bred gilt:

i. Name and registration number of service sire

ii. Date sow serviced—date must coincide with due date of sow

iii. AI certificate number (if a paper certificate is not available, the AI certificate number MUST be recorded on the back of the gilt’s pedigree)
